Cyclone Yaas is set to make landfall on the eastern coast of India on May 26. Cyclone Yaas, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) says, has intensified into a “severe cyclonic storm” sometime yesterday and is expected to cross north Odisha-West Bengal coasts between Paradip and Sagar Island tomorrow at 12pm (noon). Both West Bengal and Odisha are expected to face effects of the cyclone, and the government is now taking necessary steps before the storm hits. The government's UMANG app has a separate section that offers all IMD department services, including real-time tracking of the cyclone. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play store and search for IMD on the search bar. The carousel on the homepage also offers a warning of the cyclone Yaas and clicking on it will take you to the IMD section. There's an option called cyclone that opens up the ability to track Yaas real-time.

Windy.com offers a real-time view of the cyclone, with its accurate location and severity. There is also a timeline that lets you go ahead in time to see when the cyclone will make landfall and how severe its impact will be. Users can see stats on rain, thunder, wind speed, temperature, and clouds as well.

This website has been developed by the Ministry of Earth Sciences and it offers users to track the cyclone in real-time. On the homepage, there is an option called cyclone, and clicking on it will take you to a bulletin announcing all the upcoming warnings in the country. There is an option in the side menu called Interactive Track of Cyclone. This lets you see where the eye of the cyclone is currently.

The Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre for Typical Cyclone Over North Indian Ocean — simply known as RSMC — allows real-time tracking of the cyclone Yaas. It is also developed by India's Ministry of Earth Sciences. Head here to check where the cyclone is at currently.

 

Windows Next-Generation Update Coming Very Soon, to Be Most Significant in a Decade: CEO Satya Nadella

Microsoft is looking to launch the next-generation of Windows OS very soon. At the Build 2021 conference, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella teased the impending arrival of the big upcoming Windows OS update that is expected to bring several design changes for the File Explorer, Start Menu, and even Action Center. The next-gen update is rumoured to be codenamed Sun Valley and is expected to be released this fall. Nadella has teased that the new update will create more opportunities for developers and creators.

During the Build 2021 keynote, Nadella teased the arrival of a big Windows OS update very soon. He didn't detail the new features or design changes that are coming with the next update but said that it will be “one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade.” He promised that the update will “create more opportunity for every Windows developer” existing today and will welcome new creators as well.

I've been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I'm incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows. Microsoft is reported to be working on significant UI changes and even a new app store for Windows. Nadella's remarks seem to point towards the latter, hinting that Microsoft may introduce features that will unlock more monetisation opportunities for developers. Other reported features to come with the next-generation of Windows include new system icons, the end of Windows 95 icons, and more. Windows 10X was officially cancelled recently and Microsoft looks to trickle down some of Windows 10X features to the next-gen Windows OS update.

Vivo Y73 2021, Vivo V21e 5G Specifications Tipped by Alleged Google Play Console Listing, May Launch Soon

 

 

ivo Y73 2021 and Vivo V21e 5G smartphone models have allegedly been spotted in Google Play Console listings. Vivo Y73 2021 has also been spotted in an alleged IMEI listing that shows its model number to be V2059. Vivo V21e was launched in Malaysia last month along with the Vivo V21 5G and Vivo V21. Now, it is expected to be working on a 5G variant of Vivo V21e that could be launched globally soon. Vivo has not shared any information either of the phones.

Vivo Y73 2021 moniker was confirmed by an alleged IMEI database listing that connects it to model number V2059. This model number was spotted in a Google Play Console listing, hinting at some of the specifications. The phone may be launched with the MediaTek Helio G90 SoC (MT6785), 8GB RAM, and a full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display. It will likely run Android 11 out-of-the-box. The Google Play Console listing was spotted by 91Mobiles.

On the other hand, Vivo V21e 5G was spotted in a Google Play Console listing by MySmartPrice. It shows the phone could sport the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC (MT6833V), 8GB RAM, and a full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) display. It is also expected to run Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1.

The 4G variant of Vivo V21e that was launched in Malaysia is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, paired with 8GB RAM. It sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. It packs a triple rear camera setup that is headlined by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. It is unclear what all similarities the 5G model will have with the 4G variant but it is likely that Vivo V21e 5G will retain the triple rear camera setup, among other features.

Redmi AirDots 3 Pro true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds have been launched in China by Xiaomi alongside the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G smartphone. The new TWS earbuds are an upgraded version of the Redmi AirDots 3 that were launched in China in February. The Pro variant is offered in two colours and brings active noise cancellation (ANC) feature. The Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbuds have an ultra-low latency listening mode and the ability to connect with two devices simultaneously.

As of now, Xiaomi has not shared any information on the international availability of the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro.
